Actor Vishal on Friday took to Twitter to deny wedding rumours, which claimed that he has secretly married Lakshmi Menon, who acted with him in the film Pandiya Naadu. Vishal said that he wouldn’t have responded to the rumour had it not involved a woman.
The actor wrote on Twitter, “Usually I don’t respond to any fake news or rumors about me coz I feel it’s useless. But now since the rumour about my marriage with Laksmi Menon is doing the rounds, I point blankly deny this and it’s absolutely not true and baseless.”
He added, “The reason behind my response is only because it involves a Girl firstly more than her being an actress. You are invading and spoiling a girl’s private life and maligning her image. It’s not a Bermuda triangle to decode the year, date, time and who I am getting married to in the future. Hope sense prevails. When the time comes will announce my marriage officially. God Bless.”

Earlier, Vishal was dating Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who is known for the films Sarkar and Poda Podi. Vishal and Varalaxmi acted in the films Sandakozhi 2 and Madha Gadha Raja (unreleased). Though Vishal was competing against Varalaxmi’s father Sarathkumar in the Nadigar Sangam election, Varalaxmi was backing Vishal. However, the two eventually broke up.
Vishal was later engaged to Anisha Alla Reddy. However, after six months, the actors called off the wedding for unknown reasons.
Vishal, who made his acting debut with Chellame, became a bankable actor after the release of his second film, Sandakozhi. Thimiru, Thaamirabharani, and Avan Ivan are some of his popular movies. He will next be seen in the film Mark Antony.
