She accessorised her look with an identical pink shoulder purse, a stunning pearl choker, a tiny bracelet and styled her hair in high ponytail.
The singer-entrepreneur extended the concept through to her guests, who were all dressed in vivid Barbiecore outfits.
Her younger sister Gracie also went to the event, which included themed cuisine like large sugar cookies with the word “Selena” inscribed on them and a large pink cake with the words “HBD Selena” written over it.

In a private theatre, the partygoers were also able to watch Greta Gerwig’s recently released movie Barbie.
Selena celebrated turning 31 with not just one, but two lavish parties. The star-studded occasions were chock-full of glitz, good times and a powerful message about mental health.
Selena’s second event was a more formal birthday party, and she wowed in a fiery red strapless minidress from the Spring 2023 collection by Bottega Veneta.
The red floral appliqué on the rear of the strappy black Magda Butrym shoes complemented the dress’s fabric floral pattern. She paired the look with hoop earrings. With her hair pulled back in a high ponytail, she opted for glam contouring and black eyeliner as makeup.
Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Connar Franklin, Karol G, Benny Blanco and Sabrina Claudio were among the celebrities who attended the second party.
Taylor Swift, who is now on her Eras Tour, and fellow BFF Nicola Peltz, who is on holiday in Saint Tropez with her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, were noteworthy absences.

Along with the celebrations, Selena utilised her birthday to promote mental health. Instead of gifts, she asked for contributions to the Rare Impact Fund. The Lose You To Love Me singer established the fund with the goal of lowering the stigma attached to mental illness and assisting people by providing access to the tools they need to maintain their mental health.
Through her cosmetics company, Rare Beauty, Selena expressed her appreciation on Instagram for the work carried out by the Rare Impact Fund.
“People keep asking me what I want for my birthday, and I tell everyone the same thing please do not get me anything but if you want to do something for my birthday, please donate to the Rare Impact Fund. If you have the means, consider donating to help us make a difference,” she wrote in the caption.
