Ali Mercchant, known for shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Bandini and Bigg Boss 4, recently tied the knot with model Andleeb Zaidi. The actor took to his social media to share the news with his followers. He also shared a few photos from the wedding.

He wrote a long, loving caption which read, “And now we can hang out forever, Happily ever after stars now. #alhumdullilah. #justdilAndAli. I see us not as promises but as privileges; I get to laugh with you, cry with you, care for you, and share with you. I get to run with you, walk with you, build with you, and live with you. I get to have you be the person I spend the rest of my life with. I get to be there for you and support you. I don’t have to honor and cherish you; I get to because I am in love with you.”
Andleeb too posted pictures from their wedding. The couple went for off-white and golden outfits. While Ali wore a sherwani, Andleeb wore a sharara with golden thread work. The couple’s friends congratulated them in the comment section of the post.
Ali previously got married to Sara Khan while the two were inside the Bigg Boss house. However, the two filed for divorce a few months months after coming out of the show and were accused of getting married for publicity.
In an earlier interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sara had said that her marriage with Ali was never legalised. She said, “It wasn’t a marriage. But I cannot go about explaining it to everyone all the time. This is why I have stopped talking about it. A breakup was termed as a divorce. While it never affected me professionally, I was tagged (a divorcee) unwantedly. As much as I try to get that off me, it’s impossible and it continues to haunt me even today.”
